Mrs. Dragana Stojanović was born on December 15, 1975.

She finished high school “Svetozar Marković” in Niš on mathematics-related subjects in 1994 as a winner of diploma Vuk Stefanović Karadžić. In the same year, she enrolled at the Faculty of Science and Mathematics in Niš, where she graduated and obtained the title of MSc. in Mathematics and Computer Science. Since 2000, as a programmer and independent consultant, she has been involved in software development projects for keeping business books of small and medium-sized companies, especially in the part of financial data processing, keeping the company’s General Ledger and reporting. In order to compensate for the lack of necessary specific knowledge in the field of finance, in 2003 she passed differential exams and entered the Faculty of Economics at the University of Belgrade.

In mid-2005, she was employed as a Business Analyst of the Greek “Piraeus Bank” and participated in the formation of the Financial Control Department and the introduction of international standards in reporting to the Group, as well as the design and implementation of reporting to the management.

At the beginning of 2007, she received an offer from the FORTIS Group (a Belgian financial company active in insurance, banking, and investment management, which at that time was the 20th largest business in the world) and as a Senior Business/System Analyst and IT Project Manager worked in Poland, Ukraine and Russia on large and complex international IT projects (budget up to 25 million euros). Sponsored by the FORTIS group, she completed several months of training and professional improvement at APMG UK and in 2009 she obtained a prestigious PRINCE2 project management certificate (Credential ID P2R/337745).

At the end of 2009, upon the invitation of the management of the Russian “Moscow Bank”, she temporarily returned to Serbia, and as the Head of the Planning and Analysis Department, she designed and established the processes of MIS reporting, budgeting and controlling for greenfield investment in Serbia.

At the Faculty of Economics of the University of Belgrade on July 16, 2010 she defended the Master’s thesis: “The role of information systems in the processes of business planning and analysis” and acquired the academic title: M.Phil. in Economics.

At the beginning of 2011, in the position of Head of the Budgeting and MIS Department of the Greek “Alpha bank” as part of a Task Force team with two other colleagues, she was appointed to redesign the bank’s business model, including the identification of weak areas and the restructuring of areas where it is certain that activities should be replaced or stopped , in order to improve the overall efficiency and profitability of the bank after several years of continuous loss.

In the middle of 2014, she got a job in Luxembourg and as an employee of the IT company “Avaloq”, she worked as a Senior Consultant on the Outsourcing of Banking Operations project (Client: Banque Internationale à Luxembourg).

At the beginning of 2015, at the invitation of the management, she joined “Mirabank” – an Arab greenfield business bank in Serbia that was founded by the royal family of the United Arab Emirates, and as the Head of the Reporting, Budgeting and Controlling Department, she designed and established reporting processes for the National Bank of Serbia and management as well as the processes of strategic planning, budgeting and controlling, and worked on profitability analysis of strategic initiatives.

In October 2019, she moved to the IT department of “Komercijalna banka” and as an IT specialist was Project leader on: Integration of NLB banka into Komercijalna banka (Finance/General Ledger), Integration of Komercijalna banka into NLB Group (IBM Cognos Analytics – Reporting) and Implementation of Behavioural Model of Assessment of Probability of Default – PD model.

Since February 2022, she has been working at the Italian “Unicredit Bank” in the position of Senior MIS Specialist in the Controlling, Capital Management and Ownership Shares Department.

In March 2023, she had short assignment in “Mobi banka” as a DWH Expert for the project of developing a new mobile application and redesigning the architecture of the complete information system of the bank.

Since June 2023 Dragana Stojanovic works in the position of Senior Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence Specialist in “Addiko Bank”.

She is the author of several publications in the field of controlling and business management, and she considers the fact that she is David’s mother since 2013 to be her greatest life achievement.
